GSC Club bylaws
The Granite State Chapter was formed on February 2008 by five people who love and ride Victory motorcycles. We held our first meeting over coffee and donuts at a local Dunkin Donuts just talking about what was involved and getting the neccessary paperwork filled out for The Victory Motorcycle Club and the State of NH. On that day, Feb 3,2008, our chapter was official. We had all the ingredients to make what is now a premier riders' group in New Hampshire for Victory motorcycles.
One of our requirements was to support a local charity. We looked at many charities and found several worthy of our support. Due to this we adopted a strategy to take an annual vote on what charity we would support for that year. SOme of the notable charities we have supported include the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH and David's House at the Childrens Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The Chapter participates in fundraisers such as BBQs, dealer open house events, raffles, etc. All of these events have been very successful and proceeds go to our charity of choice. Every November we make a formal presentation to the charity with all the money generated from these fundraisers through out the year. This is one of the most exciting days for our members as all of our hard work finally pays off.
Our Chapter has grown to include over 40 members throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts in a very short period of time. We now own and operate www.GraniteStateChapter.com that includes a GSC private member forum where we conduct our business and post chapter reports for our members. Our meetings are held at various locations through out the state on a monthly basis and are posted in the forum section of granitestatechapter.com. As you can see we have been steadily growing and hope to continue to grow in the future!
